Carl Nelson

Carl grew up, and currently lives in rural Vermont. He likes to stay busy when not attending school, working, playing games, running, or practicing martial arts. You’ll rarely find him sitting around.

During Carl’s junior and senior year of high school he attended the Center for Technology, Essex. He studied Computer Animation and Web Design. Although only listing 2 concepts in its title, this class taught Carl much of what he knows today. During his final 2 years of high school Carl was honored to participate in the community and join the National Technical Honors Society, but valued more his new education in Game Design, and Digital painting. Both of these concepts fascinated him, and he knew they were something that he wanted to do after high school. Wanting to learn more Carl took two college courses during his senior year, Drawing 1 and 2, and regularly watched tutorials on digital painting. He worked day and night, taking what he learned in class to build an impressive portfolio. The plan; to get into college for Game Art, and follow that with a lifelong career in Illustration.
